Custom Invoice Handling
Custom invoice handling relates to PDF invoices which are on-charged to a tenant.
If a custom invoice is detected, RentHQ will provide you with the option to charge the tenant for a portion or the entire invoice. This is achieved by creating an extra charge.
There is also the option to automatically send an email to the tenant the charge relates to. To send this email you need to select a mail merge letter format. To create this mail merge letter go to the Mail Merge menu option, choose to create a new mail merge template, and select Tenant/Extra Charge as the type of letter you want to create. The content of this letter will form the body of the email sent to the tenant.
You will also need to specify the email subject, and whether you want to send the PDF invoice to the tenant as well as part of the email.
