Sometimes there are charges which need to be passed on to multiple tenants, however the share of the charge each tenant gets is not even. This is common with commercial properties where there are expenses which are split based on the floor area of each tenant.
This has been catered for with the new extra charge split on allocation feature. Each tenant is given an allocation amount on the tenant details screen. This could be their floor area or any other numerical value such as a percentage. Then when creating bulk extra charges, you get the option to split that charge across multiple tenants based on their share of the sum of the allocations.
